Somehow we are already into 2015 and I have not posted about Halloween, Thanksgiving or Christmas. It has been such a busy whirlwind of activity and I doubt I'll ever be able to capture it all in my blog, but at the very least I will try to target my creative moments, starting with Halloween...
Halloween is such a cool holiday - especially for all us creative, artsy people who need variety and weird events in our lives to keep things interesting. I didn't know how the whole door-to-door candy seeking thing was going to pan out with my one-year-old, so last minute I decided to throw a party. And Lord knows I can't throw a party without going just a little overboard. With over 12 kids between the ages of 10 months and 5 years I tried to target the fun to that age range and think it was pretty successful! Here are the photos of our fun day:

No, I'm not that crazy... these are only Ainsley's hand and footprints, not every kid's who attended the party. Paint, toddlers and costumes? That would just be ridiculous! (Though I wouldn't put it passed me) |

The little ones loved this! Seeing my nephew's face light up when he saw this made it all worth the effort. He didn't make it to the party, but I left it up for a week after and it was still there when he came to visit. |

Ghost toilet paper bowling. Amazing they didn't unravel all of them. |

Biggest hit for the toddlers: Balloons hanging from trees. Who knew? |

Another hit: Tractor rides around the yard |
